Dream of Wild Health engages Native American youth in community awareness by experiencing the cultural grounding and operation of food-related enterprises growing specialty agricultural crops and indigenous foods. The Lakes Center for Youth and Families is in year two of  “Tried and True Small Engines Repair Shop”. The Health Center did not have a wall, and the community felt that women would seek prenatal care more frequently with a wall. It will offer a place for money, medicine and expensive medical equipment to be stored. The youth will paint murals illustrating health problems and their solutions. These murals will then teach all in the community how to prevent illnesses.
