The program will service the entire organization with hands-on training and classroom time for North Minneapolis youth ages 14-24. A culinary arts education certificate is being designed. COMPAS along with Face to Face (F2F) will employ up to 24 homeless youth (ages 14 to 21) as apprentice painters and mosaic artists. They will work along side mentoring COMPAS artists, design and implement community park art displays to be enjoyed by all. Youth will learn mosaic & painting techniques, project implementation, leadership development, and gain employment skills.

The Garden Warriors youth learn technical job skills: filling out job applications, interviewing, and signing a contract. Each youth earns a stipend and a bonus for successfully completing the program and is trained in opening a bank account, writing checks, and basic money management, while older youth assist in organizing and staffing the Farmer's Markets at St. Paul and Minneapolis, learning about nutrition and making new recipes, teamwork building, salesmanship, finance and marketing while building relationships within the communities.

JA Company Program provides students with the opportunity to learn skills and can-do attitudes that the entrepreneurial spirit encompasses in a positive, structured environment, promoting creative solutions and community engagement.

PaCC builds out successful education and employment model for life-long impact by preparing and placing youth in their broad partner network.

An expansion project will provide more employment opportunities for St. Paul youth, strengthen their evaluation program by adding a social/emotional assessment for apprentices and add six youth evaluators to lead the Youth Express evaluation team. Provides apprenticeships at four locations for 45 youth and will offer Urban Apprentice training for an additional 55 youth.

Tried and True Small Engines for youth ages 13-18 in the Forest Lake area, will provide a supportive environment for youth caught up in the juvenile justice system, and interested in shop and mechanics. The Youth will gain experience and training in small engines repair while learning how to manage a small business. Youth repairing machines to sell for a small profit a community auction. The profits from this program go toward youth accrued debts and fines, and also fund LAYSB programming.

Sisterhood Boutique is a gently used clothing store that is staffed by youth. This program includes a four month paid internship for up to 45 young East African women per year – fostering cross cultural and cross generational connections, engages the interns in community improvement activities, and addresses social and emotional learning through an asset-based, social-emotional framework. Youth to learn, practice, and teach each other, and take control of their own financial and career futures by developing their individual and group entrepreneurial leadership skills.

Their attended community engagement meetings and assist with networking and grant writing. Their interns are piloting an arts program that work with up to ten high school students to find their voice through writing lyrics and spoken word pieces, learning studio music production, and performance skills.

They will provide 60 low-income, diverse 14-18 year-old youth on the East Side of St. Paul with youth social entrepreneurship and leadership opportunities via sustainable agriculture, food production and distribution, wellness living, and conservation projects through their year-round paid youth internship program. Youth social entrepreneurship project elements include: producing over 4,000 pounds of vegetables; harvesting and distributing within a 30-member CSA; weekly market stands and at Twins baseball games.

Teens in the WAYLEDP engage in multiple learning sessions during the fall with experts in business, community development and entrepreneurship, compiling an extensive journal of thought along the way that they will use while completing extensive on-site field experiences. The learning sessions will focus three main areas: defining entrepreneurism in easy to understand ways, how to effectively engage in the community we live in, and how to acquire the real-world skills necessary to succeed in the business/work environment.
